Black Altar isn`t known too much and even those who has much to do with so called Polish underground scene would have some problems with the name. However Black Altar recorded in 2000 a very solid album which has been released in 2002 as a split cd with Vesania. They are playing very agressive fast black metal with many synthesizer passages and intros. `Wrath ov the gods` is to be the homage to more extreme black metal. Six hymns including a cover `The Return` from Bathory simply get really dark atmosphere. As a guest on this production appeared Nazgrim mainly known from Titan Mountain.
